Join us for a snorkelling tour out of Eaglehawk Neck, Tasman Peninsula with Go Dive Tasmania. The Tasman Peninsula offers some absolutely spectacular locations which need to be seen to be believed. With Fur Seals, Weedy Sea Dragons, shallow Shipwrecks and giant Waterfalls It is the ideal snorkelling location and is a must do.
How long is the tour?
- 3.5 - 4 hours on the boat (you will need to meet prior to organise rental equipment)
What's Included?
- Boat Trip and Captain
- Rental Equipment (wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins)
What's not included?
- You will need to fitout rental equipment from our store in Hobart. This can mean collecting your gear the day prior (if on an early morning trip) and returning it to the shop.
- Guides are not included in our snorkelling trips but can be organised for an additional fee if required. If a guide is requested, they are not guaranteed until confirmed with the store.
If you are booking a dive trip, please read:
- You will be required to fill out a rental form if you are using any of our hire gear and an online waiver form
- We require a minimum of 4 people to run a trip. Groups must be pre-organised by you to book on. Alternatively, we are happy to take bookings however must have 4 participants in order to run the session.

How much is equipment rental?
We offer different packages depending on what you require. Click here to see our Rental Equipment Pricing
Where do the dives leave from?
All dives will depart from either Eaglehawk Neck or Port Arthur unless otherwise specified on our dates.
Where do we meet?
For the dives you will be required to pop into our store at least the day prior to organise your equipment rental, you will then be asked to meet at our Divers Lodge Accomodation in Taranna on the day of your dives. This is roughly a 1 hours drive from Hobart.
Do you offer transport to and from Hobart?
No. You must have your own transport for all dives we offer.
How can I get to Taranna for meet the boat?
There is no public transport suitable to meet our boat. You will need to either have your own vehicle or hire a car.
How many dives are included?
2 Boat Dives are included unless otherwise specified in the date you book

Booking Conditions
By booking a boat dive or snorkelling session you acknowledge that you will be required to fill out an online information/waiver form that will be provided by Go Dive. It is a condition that you must complete this form prior to your dives, no exceptions.
By booking a boat dive you also acknowledge that you have booked a dive you are suitably certified for and that you are medically fit to dive.
Cancellation Policy
At Go Dive, we understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our customers whenever possible. However, due to the nature of scuba diving trips and the resources involved, cancellations must be made in accordance with the following policy:
- Up to 5 days before the scheduled dive: A 20% cancellation fee will apply
- Less than 5 days before the scheduled dive: No refund will be provided
In the event that Go Dive must cancel a dive trip or activity due to inclement weather, unsafe diving conditions, instructor unavailability, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will offer the following options:
- Reschedule the dive for a future date (subject to availability).
- Issue a full refund for the cancelled activity.
We will make every effort to inform you of cancellations as early as possible.
Customers who fail to show up for a scheduled dive or activity without providing prior notice will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
If a dive trip is interrupted due to unforeseen circumstances, Go Dive will determine partial refunds or rescheduling options based on the portion of the trip completed.
We recommend that all customers consider purchasing trip insurance or scuba diving insurance to cover non-refundable costs in the event of cancellations due to personal reasons or unexpected situations beyond anyone’s control.
