Private Accessible Dive and Snorkel Experiences

Dive Trip - Go Dive Tasmania

Go Dive Tasmania – Private Accessible Dive & Snorkel Experiences
Adventure Should Be for Everyone 🌊

At Go Dive Tasmania, we believe the underwater world should be accessible to as many people as possible.

We understand that every person’s needs, goals, abilities, and comfort levels are different — which is why we offer private accessible dive and snorkel experiences tailored specifically to you.

Whether you’re dreaming of:

  • Snorkelling with seals
  • Trying scuba diving for the first time 🤿
  • Breathing underwater through a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience
  • Exploring Tasmania’s marine life 🐟
  • Catching seafood such as scallops, abalone or crayfish 🦞
  • Getting back into diving after injury or illness

…we’d love to talk about how we can help make that happen.

We’ll Work With You

Accessibility means different things to different people.

Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all program, we prefer to speak directly with you about:

  • Your goals
  • Your experience level
  • Mobility or support requirements
  • Water confidence
  • Medical considerations
  • Carers, support workers or family involvement
  • What modifications or support may help create the best possible experience

If it’s possible to do safely, we will do everything we reasonably can to help make it happen.

Real Experience Creating Accessible Adventures

We recently worked with Discover Tasmania on an accessibility campaign where we facilitated:

  • A PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience for a vision-impaired participant
  • In-water experiences for an amputee participant

These experiences reinforced something we strongly believe:

Adventure should not be automatically ruled out because someone experiences the world differently.

Private & Flexible Experiences ⚓

Because every situation is unique, these experiences are offered privately and customised around individual requirements.

This may include:

  • Private boat charters
  • Additional crew support
  • Slower-paced experiences
  • Shore-based options
  • Snorkelling or scuba diving
  • Additional surface support
  • Family/support person participation
  • Tailored site selection based on conditions and accessibility needs

We can also help create unique catch and cook experiences 🦞🔥

Depending on the season, conditions, licensing, and your comfort level, this may include collecting local Tasmanian seafood such as:

  • Southern Rock Lobster
  • Scallops
  • Abalone
  • Sea Urchin

We can assist with:

  • Safe collection techniques
  • Local knowledge and guidance
  • Cleaning and preparation of your catch
  • Assisting you to cook and enjoy your seafood afterwards

For many visitors, this becomes far more than just a dive or snorkel trip — it becomes a genuine Tasmanian coastal experience.

Important Information

  • All activities are subject to weather, safety, and operational suitability.
  • Some experiences may require medical clearance.
  • Certain activities may not be suitable depending on individual circumstances, conditions, or environmental factors.
  • Catch limits, fisheries regulations, and seasonal closures strictly apply.
  • We encourage early contact so we can discuss options properly and create the best experience possible.

Returns

Returns & Refunds Policy

At Go Dive Tasmania, we encourage customers to choose carefully before making a purchase. We are committed to meeting our obligations under Australian Consumer Law and will always work with customers to resolve genuine product issues.

Change of Mind Returns

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases.

Change of mind includes, but is not limited to:

  • Ordering the wrong item
  • No longer requiring the item
  • Finding the item elsewhere
  • Changing your mind after purchase
  • Changes to personal circumstances
  • Purchasing an item that is not suitable for your intended use where advice was not sought prior to purchase

Please choose carefully before completing your purchase.

Exchanges & Store Credit

At our discretion, we may consider an exchange or store credit for items returned within 30 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The item is completely unused
  • The item remains unopened and in its original sealed packaging
  • The item is in a condition that allows it to be resold as new
  • All original accessories, manuals, tags and packaging are included
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Approval of an exchange or store credit is not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

The following items are generally not eligible for exchange, store credit or refund:

  • Gift cards
  • Items that have been opened, used, assembled, installed, registered, activated or entered the water
  • Items not returned in original condition

Custom Orders and Custom Items

Unfortunately, customised, special-order and non-stock items cannot be returned for change of mind, incorrect sizing, personal preference or changes in circumstances.

These items are sourced, manufactured or ordered specifically for the customer and cannot generally be resold by Go Dive Tasmania.

Returns, exchanges, store credit or refunds for these items will only be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Sale, Clearance and Final Sale Items

Items marked as Sale, Clearance, Final Sale or otherwise sold at a reduced price are generally not eligible for return, exchange, store credit or refund for change-of-mind reasons.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Incorrect sizing
  • Personal preference
  • Changes in circumstances
  • No longer requiring the item
  • Purchasing an alternative product

We encourage customers to carefully consider their purchase and seek advice regarding sizing, suitability and product selection before ordering.

Nothing in this section affects your rights under Australian Consumer Law where a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise subject to a consumer guarantee.

Refunds Offered at Our Discretion

Where Go Dive Tasmania elects to offer a refund for a change-of-mind purchase or other circumstance where a refund is not required under Australian Consumer Law, the refund may be reduced by any reasonable costs incurred by Go Dive Tasmania.

This may include:

  • Payment processing fees that are not refunded to us by the payment provider
  • Shipping or freight costs incurred by Go Dive Tasmania, including orders that qualified for free shipping
  • Administrative and handling costs
  • A restocking fee of up to 10% of the purchase price

Store credit may be offered as an alternative to a refund and may provide a higher value where Go Dive Tasmania would otherwise incur unrecoverable costs.

Any refund, store credit or exchange remains at the sole discretion of Go Dive Tasmania and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Return Approval

All returns must be approved by Go Dive Tasmania before being sent back.

Approval to return an item for assessment does not guarantee that an exchange, store credit or refund will be offered.

Returned items will be inspected upon receipt to ensure they meet the requirements of this policy.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return relates to a faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied item.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as Go Dive Tasmania cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.

If an item is returned and found to be ineligible for exchange, store credit or refund under this policy, the item may be collected from our store or returned to the customer at the customer's expense.

Payment for return shipping must be received before the item is returned.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at info@godivetassie.com.au.

We may request photographs or additional information to assist in assessing the issue.

Where a product is found to be faulty, damaged or not as described, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. This may include repair, replacement, store credit or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Payment Processing Fees

Some payment providers, including PayPal, do not refund transaction fees to merchants when refunds are issued.

Where a discretionary refund is approved, any unrecoverable payment processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount or incorporated into any applicable restocking fee.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
