Tasmanian Dive Sites
Discover our most popular boat and shore dive sites around Tasmania. Each location showcases the unique underwater landscapes that make this region a diving paradise, from towering sea cliffs and kelp forests to sponge gardens and wrecks. Sites are chosen based on the best conditions on the day, and dives are generally self-guided with thorough briefings, although private guides are available on request. Water temperatures typically range from 11–18°C depending on the season. Many divers also enjoy Tasmania’s seasonal recreational seafood, including lobster, abalone, and scallops (subject to local regulations and seasons). We recommend a good quality 7mm wetsuit or drysuit to stay comfortable year-round.
