Dive in the Ocean
This isn't simply a pool introduction.

Your Discover Scuba Experience
Your experience is broken into a few simple steps.
Step 1 – PADI Discover Scuba eLearning
Before getting in the water, you'll complete the PADI Discover Scuba Diving eLearning.
This short online introduction covers the fundamental safety information you'll need for your first scuba experience.
It generally takes around 20–30 minutes and can be completed on your computer, tablet or smartphone before your dive.
Step 2 – Meet Your Instructor & Get Geared Up
Meet us at the Go Dive Tasmania store in Hobart, where your PADI Instructor will get you fitted with all of your scuba equipment.
Your instructor will explain how the equipment works, what to expect underwater and the basic principles of scuba diving.
There's no rush. The focus is on making sure you're comfortable and understand everything before entering the water.
Step 3 – Learn the Basics
At the dive site, your instructor will introduce you to the basic skills you'll need underwater.
You'll learn things such as:

How to use your scuba equipment
-
Basic underwater communication
-
How to clear water from your mask
-
How to recover and clear your regulator
